Piantami is among the first companies in Europe 
to industrialize the production of 
bio-active plantable paper for packaging applications.

In 2024, production of 70 × 100 cm sheets was introduced.
By 2026, the annual production capacity has been increased to
380 tonnes.

In 2026, industrial reel production was launched, 
enabling Piantami to enter the sustainable labeling sector.

The specific technical properties and compatibility with the main
 printing processes allow Piantami Paper to be used
as a substrate for the development of sustainable packaging solutions.

Piantami Paper is made from natural fibres and selected seeds, engineered to maintain germination performance over time.

    Piantami® seeds are fully encapsulated within the paper fibers, preventing loss during printing. This innovative design protects them from oxidation, related discoloration while preserving their germination capacity longer.

    Piantami® paper is entirely made in Italy using locally, sourced materials  (including seeds) from a short, carefully monitored supply chain.
