We are thrilled and honored to share some news that fills us with pride: Piantami has won the Best Innovation Award at Vinitaly 2025, thanks to the MATER project, conceived by the talented Creative Director Andrea Basile.

An important recognition that goes far beyond aesthetics and celebrates a vision: that of a world where every action, every production detail, is designed to generate value, give back oxygen, and foster rebirth.
MATER is more than a label: it’s a symbol. Made with Piantami Paper, it is designed to be planted after use and to transform into life. From waste to resource, from wrapper to plant. For us at Piantami, this gesture holds a powerful message: we can no longer afford to suffocate our Mother Earth , we must learn to give her back what is rightfully hers.
The Paper That Is Reborn, Anywhere
The MATER project is the perfect demonstration of the flexibility and extraordinary versatility of Carta Piantami. A sustainable, natural, and seed-rich paper, ideal not only for labels but also for packaging, flyers, cards, shopping bags, and much more. Piantami is a living material, ready to adapt to any creative and production need, while always preserving its regenerative soul.
Behind the success of MATER is a team that combined talent, vision, and environmental responsibility. Here are the minds and hands behind the project:
